Location

The Capra in Saas-Fee is easily accessible from both Geneva airports (2 hours 40 minutes by car or 3 hours 30 minutes by train) and Zurich (3 hours 20 minutes by train). Saas-Fee is also easily accessible via Sion Airport (1 hr 10 min by car), which is suitable for both private jets and some commercial flights.

Saas-Fee and the Saas Valley are surrounded by no less than eighteen 4,000-metre peaks! Saas-Fee is an authentic, car-free Swiss village located 1,800 meters above sea level. This makes it the perfect place for high-altitude activities all year round. The breathtaking landscape with its beautiful mountains and glaciers is simply impressive to look at. Perfectly groomed ski slopes range from 3,600 m down to the villages. It is considered the most snow-sure ski area in the Alps.

13 Signature Double Rooms (25 m2)
All signature double rooms, each with its own balcony, offer the perfect space for all your needs. Comfort with desk, sitting area and a balcony or terrace with panoramic mountain views and 360 degree views. The bathroom has a rain shower and/or a bathtub.

11 Signature Junior Suite (35 m2)
The spacious Signature Junior Suites for two people have a separate sitting area and offer space for a relaxing stay. Here, too, the guest has a breathtaking panoramic mountain view.

6 Signature Suite (45 m2)
The Signature Suites with generous space and comfort. They offer a separate living area with sofa and lounge chair for relaxation. The suites can accommodate two adults and 1 child, who can use the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. 360-degree view.

5 Family Suites/Deluxe Suites (50 m2)
The spacious Family or Deluxe Suites have a separate living room and bedroom with two bathrooms and offer comfortable space for a family of four, due to the discreetly built double bunk beds. From the balcony you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain range. Panoramic mountain view and 360-degree view.

3 Penthouse Suites (65 – 95 m2)
The unique penthouse suites offer a living room with a fireplace, bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as an additional bathroom for guests. They can comfortably accommodate a family of four, as they both have pull-out sofa beds. From the balcony on the top floor, you can enjoy the best view of the breathtaking mountains. Depending on the Penthouse Suite, 2 to 4 adults can be accommodated. and 2 children.

Brasserie 1809
Modern Alpine cuisine - In the Brasserie 1809 you can enjoy a cosy atmosphere and deliciously prepared food. The menus offer unpretentious dishes made with local products from sustainable farming, inspired by the Alps. The seasonal menu focuses on quality, with ingredients from local farmers. Our farm-to-table philosophy guarantees authentic, high-quality food made from seasonal and local foods.

Der Weinkeller
offers an atmospheric backdrop for private dinners, cosy events or special celebrations. The Capra's wine list reads like a "Who's Who" of renowned wineries from Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland and includes exciting vintages, with a focus on local wines from Valais, Switzerland's most important wine-growing region. Valais is also home to the highest vines in Europe, located in Vispertherminen at an altitude of 1,100 metres.

Spielboden von The Capra
Spielboden Restaurant is a unique mountain restaurant located at an altitude of 2,448 metres and is just a short 12-minute cable car ride from the village train station. Its fascinating beauty and rich history make it a popular destination. Founded in 1953 as a "labor of love," it has become a popular destination for adventurous tourists and locals since its inception. In winter, the large sunny terrace invites you to enjoy the Swiss sun while enjoying a delicious lunch. During the  Summer season, you'll may even see marmots frolicking around the restaurant.

Spa, Wellness & Retreats

The Capra is the perfect place to escape the stress of daily life and indulge in holistic relaxation. The Peak Health Spa and Wellness Area offer a harmonious connection between body, mind and soul. In addition to a yoga studio, The Capra has a SPA, which is divided into The PEAK HEALTH SPA with spacious indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam bath, activity room and a relaxation area. Guests will also find a PRIVATE SPA (which is available for rent with whirlpool, steam bath and sauna) and the DAY SPA.

For the holistic well-being of the guest, various treatments and retreats are offered. Due to the advantageous year-round destination, the range of retreats is diverse and adapted to different needs. WINTER EXPERIENCES
Winter skiing in Saas-Fee. There are a total of 150 km of groomed slopes for skiers of all levels, as well as plenty of opportunities for extensive and safe off-piste skiing. With the highest funicular in the world (Metro Alpin), the revolving Drehrestaurant (Threesixty) and the glacier descent (Allalin Run), visitors will always find something to suit them. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there are many other winter sports to choose from - there is something for every taste and for every level!

Ski Safari. A ski safari is a must for those who want to explore new terrain every day by visiting nearby ski resorts, many of which are real "hidden gems". There are more than five resorts within an hour's drive. An alternative for non-skiers: discover the magical winter town of Saas-Fee on snowshoes!

Tobogganing In Saas-Fee, tobogganing is so much fun that you would like to do it day and night. For night sledging, you can get a headlamp in addition to the sled. A fun experience for families.

Ice sports. Whether ice skating or curling, spending a few hours on the ice is one of the oldest winter pleasures of all. It is the perfect activity to spend time with friends and family.

SUMMER EXPERIENCES
In summer, Saas-Fee offers a variety of opportunities for skiing on the glacier, hiking, climbing, mountaineering, biking, golfing, as well as playing tennis and boccia.

Summer hiking. Whether easy hikes or high alpine tours: Saas-Fee is a diverse outdoor paradise with 350 km of trails and 18 four-thousand-metre peaks.

Rope park. With the appropriate safety equipment, there is plenty of climbing fun in the Saas-Fee rope park. Even kids can swing from tree to tree on a discovery course. The popular large course has been expanded and now provides a total of two hours of excitement.

Tennis. Whether singles or doubles: In front of the high alpine backdrop of Saas-Fee, playing tennis is even more fun. By the way: It is highly unlikely that you will have to stop a match because of rain: In Saas-Fee, the sun shines on four out of five days.

Scooter fun. With three scooter routes, rapid descents and pure action are guaranteed in Saas-Fee. From Furggstalden, a 3.5 km long wide and easily passable tarred road leads down to Saas-Almagell. From Hannig, you ride the scooter on a 5.5 km long dirt road through a beautiful landscape to Saas-Fee. And from Kreuzboden down to Saas-Grund, the ultimate downhill kick awaits you for 11 km - on monster scooters!
